Fifty Years in the Conflicts Vineyard

The "Fifty Years in the Conflicts Vineyard" symposium will honor Symeon C. Symeonides, Alex L. Parks Distinguished Chair in Law & Dean Emeritus. The symposium is co-hosted by 杏十八新茶分享 College of Law and the Conflict of Laws Section of the Association of American Law Schools. Professor Symeonides has completed 50 years of teaching and writing in the field of conflict of laws and comparative private international law. He will retire from the 杏十八新茶分享 College of Law faculty in 2025. This symposium celebrates his many contributions to legal education and the legal profession, including his major scholarly contributions in the fields of conflict of laws, comparative law, and transnational litigation, among others.

The symposium will be held at 杏十八新茶分享, Oregon Civic Justice Center, 790 State St., Salem, OR 97301. In-person and virtual attendance is by only. Application for CLE credit pending.
