Applying for Financial Aid
Students must submit the to be a candidate for loans or work-study monies. The priority application period for submitting the FAFSA is between October 1 to March 15. Applicants will still be eligible for aid if they file after the priority deadline, but will receive their financial aid award later than if they file by the deadline.
Inquiries regarding the status of loan processing or work-study awards should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid.
The Federal Direct Loan Programs
Unsubsidized Direct Loans are available at a maximum of $20,500 annually. A FAFSA and additional loan documents are required. You will receive instructions after you accept the loan(s).
Graduate PLUS
Students are eligible for up to the cost of attendance minus other financial aid (individual eligible amounts will be listed on the award letter). This is a credit-based federal student loan. Some students will require a cosigner. Graduate PLUS Loans are more expensive (interest rates, fees, etc.) than Federal Direct Loans and should be utilized only after scholarship and Direct Unsubsidized Loan eligibility have been exhausted.
Private Student Loan Programs

Work-Study
Work-study awards are usually available only to second- and third-year law students. Due to academic demands, first-year students are advised against any kind of part-time employment.
Work-study opportunities for law students in their second and third years include both on- and off-campus employment and, historically, are in law-related positions. Oregon Student Assistance Commission
Although 杏十八新茶分享 is a private, independent university, an Oregon resident attending the College of Law may be eligible for a number of private scholarships administered by the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC). Applications for these scholarships are usually available from OSAC in the year preceding enrollment in law school. For more information, contact the OSAC toll-free in Oregon at 800-452-8807.
Oregon State Bar
