Sarah Beth Cohen graduated from Willamette with a master’s degree in teaching before working as a teacher, education program coordinator, and communications project manager. She then joined Social Venture Partners Portland in 2017, and worked as a community impact manager. The organization has since established The Sarah Cohen-Doherty Memorial Fund, dedicated to giving children access to high-quality, culturally-relevant early learning experiences. Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Ruth; and husband, Brian.
